Can you just FP/BACS cash into a barclays loan?
Hi all,
A relative has a small-ish barclays loan and it has a sort code/account number shown in internet banking - does anyone know if you can just send arbitrary/ad-hoc overpayments to these details to save some interest, and whether it would trigger any penalties?

You'd need to check on the terms as to whether there are any penalties.
And he should check what reference details he may need before making a payment. Otherwise his payments may just end up in a black hole.0
