So I'm due to go to the Dominican in 5 weeks for a fortnight (not a comp win sadly)

but I'm already worrying about how going to get ahead with the closing soon comps!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks about this?! :rotfl:

    Nope, I'm going on hols next week and I'm panicking about the all the comps I'm going to miss too! :eek:

    Last year I didn't worry about entering the comps but about missing wems or phone calls. I don't like taking my phone abroad as it's an iPhone and I also like to enjoy not being bothered by anyone on holiday so I left it with my brother and asked him to routinely check my emails and answer any calls ��. I didn't win anything whilst I was away so don't know why I bothered.

    I'm going away in 5 weeks too. So I am entering competitions ending the day i come back :)

    Then you shouldn't miss any :)

    Go on holiday and enjoy yourselves. Forget about competitions - don't let competitions run your life.

    If you miss some comps it's no big deal. There'll be plenty more when you get back.

    When I went to Dom Rep in 2011 it had free wi fi in room which I used. I'm more worried about the short deadlines some companies give to claim your prize!


    I go to Turkey next week that also has free wi fi BUT not in room!
    When will these hotels put free wi fi into all their rooms. Don't they know that compers go on holiday?

    Totally agree with this :)

    I've had some lovely holidays (some comp wins) and I've never though about "missing comps" more about the exciting time i'll have away with my OH. Just enjoy the hollidays and catch up when your back. If you miss a few no big deal as there are lots of lovely comps posted every day by our lovely members
