Typical negative political campaigning. Bash the opponents for everything they've done wrong, and say nothing about your own policies.

Plus, what's that broadcast got to do with the European or local elections, anyway?

No particular political axe to grind. I'm a floating voter, and have voted for all the major parties, and a few of the fringe ones, over the years.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

All it left me wondering was what Labour's policies are. Floating voter as well myself, but I know from my line of work that Labour were looking to raise fees to £9000 if they won in 2010. Previously working alongside the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills allowed me this knowledge. The last Labour government commissioned The Browne Review into tuition fees, and were planning on adopting the recommendations.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I thought the video was a brilliant bit of entertainment - had me chuckling instead of shouting at the tv like some of the others!

This is something I've noticed with all the PEBs. All of them are campaigning on national issues when, ultimately, this is an election to decide who gets to travel to Brussells and who gets to fill in the potholes outside your house.

I got a flyer yesterday claiming that if I vote Labour next week, my gas bill would be frozen and the bedroom tax (sic) would be repealed. It's a nonsense.

I thought it was awful. A party political broadcast is supposed to be just that: a broadcast of your party's politics.

But, there was nothing positive in the broadcast. They didn't tell us anything they would do, instead just pointing at each other calling names.

If that's what motivates you to vote for a party, fine. I, however, like my political parties to have a little substance.

Whenever you see politicians being interviewed they don't want to talk about what they'll do, they always tell you what the others have done wrong.
I thought last nights broadcast was funny, they have to find something entertaining otherwise the public turn off. But i still don't know what benefit it is to put my X in the box for them.

Shouldn't they come clean and re brand themselves as the political wing of the G.M.B?

I'm not voting for any of them this time around.

    They're all the same.

And can't be bothered to campaign properly any more.

    I can see both sides.
It was very well done and one of the better PPB's I've seen in a long time..
    ..but..
as said above, it said nothing about what Labour would do if they were in power. It was purely taking the mick out of Nick Clegg.
