bought this from marks and sparks y'day,wondered what is the cooking time to make it perfect

I usually steam this, say for about 10mins (depends on quantity) until just tender.
This type of brocolli has quite a short shelf life, and even in the fridge, can go yellow quickly, so would keep an eye on any that you are saving.
Although more expensive than 'brocolli' (calabrese), the tenderstem---or the purple sprouting version----is the real brocolli, and tastes much better!!0 -
I LOVE tenderstem broccolli but dont have a steamer so probably it looses all its goodness by bring boiled to death :rolleyes: its weird - hate normal broc but like the tenderstem...0
