Tiger DVD??

Hi has anyone here ever used Tiger DVD .co.uk?
I did a search for a DVD and that came up cheapest but I have never heard of them. They aren't on Kelkoo or any other shpbots I use so I just want to check them with MSErs.

Never used them but the domain was registered by someone in Thailand combined with the word "imported" in the website text usually translates as copies...

Also the domain was only registered in March so they won't have been trading (online, and under that name at least) for long.

If they are not on any shopbots how did you do a search for a DVD and come up with that site? Nothing to do with the site are we?

Thanks outbidder. Thats very helpful. I'm nothing to do with the site no :rotfl: ! My OH did a search using the DVD title in Google and Tiger DVD came up but I was a bit dubious as I had never heard of them and it seems from what you have posted they are to be avoided.
Play or HMV are a much safer bet.

TigerDVD.com is a scam. I was going to place an order, but changed my mind BEFORE clicking the place your order button. They charged me anyway. Of course, since they are scammers, there is no phone number to contact them. And, the e-mail address posted on their website is wrong (big surprise there). I triple-checked that it was spelled right, but my e-mails kept getting returned to me. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

Honestly I had no problem with them at all. I was apprehensive as well, since I've never ordered from an overseas company. I feel like I got a good deal. Don't know about phone #'s but the email address was correct.

The only reason i joined this website was to comment on tigerdvd.com lol.
First of all i dont work for them so i dont want to be accused of that.
I ordered 2 dvd sets from them friends and charmed. At first i was very skeptical since the site looked fishy, but i ordered it anyways. I changed my mind the next day and decided to contacts tigerdvd.com directly but as someone already mentioned there was no contact info what so ever. Then i got worried and called my bank to cancel it, but they had to go through a whole procedure, so i just gave up on that. I honestly did not think i would receive the dvd's ,but i did a week after i placed my order.
So you actually get the things you order, that part is not a scam. The dvd quality is actually really good and they work great. Eventually i decided to sell my charmed dvd set on ebay but it was removed due to the copyright infrigment. That was when i actually realized that the dvds were basiclly illegal copies. Tigerdvd.com is actually a good site if you just want to have the dvds for yourself and not sell them(since that wont work). Its very very cheap and you get what you pay for. Honestly for 50-70$ you can NOT expect to get originals.
