Still getting letters 5 months in

Hi
I went BR in December. I've been sending all the letters from Debt Collectors to the OR, as instructed. I've sent some of the DCs one of Fermi's "Back Off!" Letters too.
However, I'm still getting about 2 or 3 letters a week from Debt Collectors. It seems to me that the minute they're informed I'm BR they sell the debt on. How do I stop this rolling forward all the time?
Is it simply a case of keeping on with the letters until they eventually stop?
I've written to the OR telling her how much stress this is causing - my OH is going through radiotherapy for cancer just now - but I'm still getting the letters.
It's an effort to keep writing letters, and costs money to post them. I've just set up a separate email address so I can email these companies instead, and can forward the email to the OR too.
Any help or advice welcome.
Thanks All
xx

Yes, I would forward the email to the OR. Same with scanning the letters if you need to email those to cut out postal costs
You could take complaints to the FOS etc, but once sold on it makes that somewhat futile.
Difficult to do, but ignore them for now. Or at least do not worry. There is nothing they can do.
Once you are discharged then it will be easier to deal with them. For example for ones on your credit file you can force them to mark the accounts as settle/satisfied, which tends to stop or inhibit the merry-go-round of selling on. As at that point you are legally discharged from the debt, you also have a stronger complaint case if others are pursued as well.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Many thanks Fermi.
Yes, I've started scanning the letters and emailing them to the OR. This also means I can deal with them quicker.
What upset me was that I know one of them has sent a 'doorstepper' to my old address and now have my new address. I just don't need the hassle of people knocking on my door, even though I know they can't do anything.
Time to hang tough & keep on with it.
Getting there slowly!

Hi NINANinja - I want bankrupt the same time as you. My OR didn't ask me to send him the letters. Everytime we got a letter we emailed them with a copy of the front page of our BR. Now we get next to nothing - I be the postman thinks he's in heaven lol. The odd straggler comes through now and again. I also found that some of companies that we told about our bankruptcy sold the debt on. In the interest of fairness I advised a company recently that the company they had bought the debt from had full knowledge of our BR. Cheeky so and so's!0
