Who's responsibility is it?

Can anyone explain or tell me who's responsibility is it to inform creditors in a bankruptcy that an AD has happened and to inform those creditors to update their records?
I appreciate it probably isn't the OR but surely the Insolvency practitioner should do that for you after all he gets paid a fortune out of your misery and stress, well he did in my case so much money with the Home Secretary that there was not enough money to pay the creditors and I didn't get a penny from the forced house sale.
I do so much work for the IP now I have months of work sorting my CR file to do, would be nice if they wrote them informing them of thhe AD. Maybe I am being silly
Thanks

put simply its not the trustees job (be that IP or OR) credit ratings have nothing to do with insolvency legislation they are something else and not part of the bankruptcy system. in any case an automatic discharge is precisely that, automatic. it happens without the trustee or anyone else having to make it happen.
The creditors also shouldnt need to be informed, as automatic discharge happens after 1 year, they havelots of bankrupts on their books, they should and do know the rules about discharge as well as anyone.Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -

Thanks for the reply, shame the creditors don't work properly then isn't it. They are quick to act but slow to repair.I love green dots :T I hate red dots :mad:0
