start new job while still employed at old job - tax question!

Sorry for the long title!
I'm starting a new job on Monday, but will still be employed by my old job for a week - they owe me 5 days for annual leave. I won't get my payslip or P45 for my old job until the end of May.
Do I fill in one P46 on Monday stating this isn't my only job, and then another the following Monday to say it is?
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't - you would be best speaking to HR in the new company to see how they want to do it; for a week, it isn't worth it.0

Put on your p46 that it is your only job then hand in your p45 as soon as you get it so your tax is sorted in this financial year. All that glitters is not gold.0

As has been said do a starter declaration (was a P46) saying that this is your only employment but be aware that this may well cause a bit of tax underpayment if new employer is using emergency tax code for the same tax period as old employer is using your normal tax code. If there is an underpayment it will be corrected on the first payday after your P45 is applied by your new employer.0

You have checked your contracts and made the appropriate requests if required by them contracts.
Could get your current employer to terminate you early and pay the holiday.0
