    I contacted them about this and they said you have to sign up to their mailing list to be approved for these offers. So just email clubcard@whsmith.co.uk with your date of birth, clubcard number and they will set it up for you.

    I had this problem a few weeks back for the 1st time use of the 200 points Dec 2007 and then tried it again yesterday and it would not go through on either Mr Olds card or mine...Will try the email suggestion by rogue_element. I used the previous coupons loads of times!!!maybe I have been blocked for over useage. Mrs Happy
