Unfortunately I did say consolidation was the reason when I spoke to the bank, the reality is the main parts of my loan request are to buy a car and new kitchen / home extension.
My plan was to go to my bank borrow the £9.6K for the car but as I had an existing loan over a fairly short term 24 months (for the kitchen / home extension) I thought I would be better settling that £6K then getting a loan to cover the car & loan = £15.5 then I add my credit card of £4K takes me £20K
I am even more confused now than I was when I first posted.:(0
