Have you not even taken the time to read through this thread?
The CSA have not even contacted me and my ex (the PWC) applied through the County Court system via MCOL for a sum of money which was/is not due. Upon receipt I made numerous inquiries which eventually lead to me having my suspicions confirmed.........
COUNTY COURTS DO NOT HAVE THE JURISDICTION TO DEAL WITH CSA RELATED DISPUTES. So any individual in receipt of a county court summons relating to a CSA matter simply needs to return it pointing out the above fact. That is all - simple.
I now feel that it is imperative that as many NRPs are made aware of this FACT. Debt leads to depression and depression can lead to suicide.
Ironically it was an employee of the CSA itself who furnished me with this very information in the first place a few years back whilst bragging how powerful they are and what distress and hardship they could pile upon me.
What I owe, if anything, and whether I have underpaid or overpaid is of nobody's concern.
I get the distinct feeling from some of the postings on this thread that certain people are more concerned with 'NRP bashing' than actually helping others out who have financial worries of varying degrees! This is MSE and not mumsnet0 -
Funny how what you owe is of nobody's concern bur you felt compelled to come back to tell us the case had been thrown or of court which I would have thought is no more of someone's else concern than what tout actuality owe.
Sounds like you came back expecting a pat on the back and a well done you and you are annoyed that not only nobody felt the urge to do so but the focus had turned on your actual debt to your kids.0 -

I think the op has already explained that he has posted this, to let any other potential NRP's know that the court has no jurisdiction over this type of claim. Other NRP's in the same situation might find it helpful to know this.
The op has not actually said he owes anything, it could be the PWC is being a "chancer" for all we know, and thought the court would just grant her the money without going through the CSA.0 -
OP did indicate that he acknowledged he owed SOME arrears just not the sum indicated. If that wasn't the case he could just have answers the question rather than giving an enigmatic sarcastic response. As it is he is letting posters believe that he does still owe arrears. His choice to do but don't see the point of doing so if he doesn't owe anything.0
