Blowing a gale here too. Must get round to replacing double glazed window in livingroom! Wind gets in when its like this.

Hi all

Calm down south today. Cold though. Rose hope your heating gets fixed, this time of year too....big hug to keep you warm.

I have a little grumpy girl at the moment, she didn't have a mid day nap and is now a little tetchy. Early night for her I think.

Any wins today?

Boiler fixed yaaaaaaay but been advised to get a new one as parts for the one I have are just about obsolete. So will give me time to get money together in the new year rather than dig in to savings. Neighbour would not accept payment for fixing it so went over to shop and bought a nice bottle of Malt Whisky that I know he enjoys. Didnt think I was going to make it back wind was blowing me all over the place being a light weight it wasn't easy fighting against it lol

Just been on amazon for a couple of hours hopefully have all christmas shopping done now apart from sweets and a few hampers I have to make up.

Glad your boiler is working again rose. I just have my parents presents and some extras to buy now. Going to Southport on Sunday so will sort things out then I hope

That's good you got your boiler fixed Rose I hate it when boiler breaks down this time of year. Ours is pretty new but I have to keep filling pressure up lately. It's showing up that it needs a service so will have to sort that out.

Hope everyone will be ok in the strong winds. It started getting windy when I picked girls up from school and we could barely walk home in it!
Been busy at work practising for shows! We done 6 hydro synchronised swimming shows today for part of school then we've got a few shows tomorrow for parents and then again Thursday for rest of school! It's absolutely draining me so I can imagine how kids feel! They have all been superstars and some are like little water babies so their parents will be proud when they watch it

Has everyone got their tree & decs up then? I must be the only one on our road not got them up yet! Had too much to do but looking forward to getting them up

I've still not got all my presents in yet either sheils. I don't know what to get for DD1 as she won't say. DD2 however has a Xmas list as long as her arm! Good luck getting all your shopping done when you go away
