Well a huge good morning to you all.

My nephew has always suffered with tonsillitis.
He would just sleep, almost comatosed sleep.
They wouldn't take them out, one year it reoccurred
a few times and he missed a lot of school but they kept
saying he will hopefully grow out of it.
He's 14 now and (touch wood) he hasn't had it for a while.

Good Morning,


Welcome maypole.


It has been wet here and looking miserable but it isn't cold.
Lots of ironing to do today. Nothing booked again until 26th when we are going to Selkirk. DH had a bit of an accident yesterday so maybe just as well. His foot slipped on front step and somehow he fell backwards into flowerbed. He is feeling a bit sore and hip is swollen although not as bad as last night. Could have been a lot worse.


It is just the last year or so DD has had bother with tonsils kitten - they think she had glandular fever which started them off.

Glandular fever is horrid. Big hugs to her.

Not many presents to buy for here, we only buy for immediate family. My sister has 2 kids (the only kids, apart from my little one in the family) so we buy for the kids then give her and her husband wine/chocs etc. it's parents we normally have a problem with. We have a small family, both sides but we are a close family.
