Hi Sylvia, no they didn't call back whoever it was. It's probably a sales call anyway!

Thanks all re- my bro, I'm just waiting for him to come back from scans and going up to see him. Hopefully we will have some answers. It's a big blow to him as we were all prepared for our op to go in the next few weeks. This will no doubt hold him back now and they will probably have to put him on dialysis which will block his arteries up. I will keep you informed when I know more.

Thanks Sylvia. They might need to take him for emergency op if bleeding continues through night. As long as they can hold off giving him blood transfusion as that will cause anti-bodies and kidney op will not go ahead then. He's settled anyway and understands what's going on.

Is anyone doing anything special for bonfire night? Our kids aren't too bothered about fireworks so we just watch out the window. DD has gymnastics first anyway No doubt jasper will be barking! I remember what barnabysue told me about wrapping cling film around the dog so he doesn't feel too distressed so I will try that.
