Morning all!
Wishing you lots of luck and well wishes for the week! Hope everyone who's feeling ill is soon feeling better.
Wingo - doctors can be a nightmare. I find actually going into the surgery to make the appointment works best. When I had my ear infection they told me there were no more appointments that day, I started crying (I was in agony at this point) and said I really needed to see someone today and magically an appointment became available at 3pm that day! Grrrr!!
Hope everyone is OK xxxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
PS. Did you guys hear about the 6 inch, venomous, spider that got delivered to someone's house in their groceries (in amongst the bananas)??!!! I am SERIOUSLY disturbed by this story! It was still alive! And it had laid EGGS!!!!!!February wins: Theatre tickets0

Morning all
It's quite mild here this morning and no sign of stormy weather yet! Hope it stays that way
Hope you're on the road to recovery soon Rose xx
I thought it had all finished with Pistorius Bella? Is there a sentencing now, seems a while ago when the trial finished!
Got a dr's app this morning. I soooo hate going to our docs! I phoned at 8am when it's meant to open to get an answer phone to say surgery will open at 8am. Tried for another 5 mins then got an engaged tone. Finally got through and it rang for 4 mins 35 secs then when I got answered it was a case of...'is there anything the nurse practitioner can help you with' ...I said I needed to see dr and she said that I would need to see nurse prac first! Grrrr... Why do I bother! I got the drs app in the end!I hate explaining symptoms over a phone to receptionist!
Hi Wingo, no the trial still hasn't completely finished. Oscar was found guilty of culpable homicide and also guilty on a charge of negligently handling a firearm that went off in a restaurant last month. Last week both the prosecution and defence teams were back in court to put forward their views on what the sentencing should be. So Oscar's defence lawyer, Barry Roux, was attempting to urge the judge to return a community-based sentence, whereas, prosecutor, Gerrie Nel, was looking for a minimum of ten years in prison! I have watched the whole trial and last week I found it quite upsetting listening to Reeva's cousin talk about the effect the death of Reeva and the case has had on the family. I do hope he gets some imprisonment to set an example but I cannot help thinking the judge is too soft! We'll just have to wait and see what she decides tomorrow!
Calm here still! Like the calm before the storm! In one way I will be glad if all the rain and wind comes throughout the night because it means we are tucked up cosy inside our homes, but on the other hand, it may keep us all awake worrying that the roof is going to fly off!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Hi everyone
Hope you all well, not much going on here today, worked this am, LO and husband been to inlaws as its father in laws birthday, they live 45 mins car drive away so have had a few hours to myself. Caught up on 'Our Girl' and I have to say its been one of the best dramas I've seen for a long while (helped by some eye candy to look at).
Also been trying to have a clear out, managed to sell some baby stuff on gumtree, someone has just come to buy a baby changing unit. Now need to get rid of 2 prams, travel cot/playpen and lots of toys!!
Christmas is coming!!Let's be happy!!0
