Thanks Bella & FF. Hill Top was mobbed with Japanese and American tourists which is the norm I think. You get a timed slot to see the cottage which has lots of her stuff in it including sketches, letters etc. There were tiny ornaments of her characters which DH and I especially liked. Some of the furniture had been copied into her books and they were open to let you see. Very interesting but had to wait an hour to get in and the garden was pretty small. You don't get to look at the farm as it is tenanted out I think. Wouldn't go back but glad to have seen it once. Would have been about £10 each to get in which I thought was quite expensive.

:wave: rose. See we are in first again!

Always quite like the feeling of waking up in my own bed after being away and being to come down and comp.
Looks like today is going to be Ok so hopefully get everyones washing up to date. DS2 kindly left me some of his too but he was only here for one night so didn't have time to get it done himself.
Only 2 weeks until DS1 arrives from Sydney, think he will be in Bermuda now as he has a wedding to go to.

Morning, glad you had a good trip Sheils. It's a dull start to the day here but it's early.I'm only working a couple of hours today so more time to comp..lol. Hope you all have a lucky day

Morning! Another gorgeous morning and still no rain for us! The local forecast has been completely wrong for us! Enjoy hump day! Cannot believe that in one month it will be the longest day and then the days begin to get shorter again! Eeeek!
