Well done on the wins Dreams! :T I remember the basin cuts! My nephew had one but his was done by hairdresser. It just looked like he had it cut with a bowl around his head!

Sheils, it worked for a while turning the internet off. I was the bad mother though apparently! :o
Hope you got all your ironing done. I haven't got the energy yet for mine! Can't stop coughing.

What did you have for T/A fire**fly? We went for parmo for 2 eldest and me & DD2 had sausage & chips from chippie but got caught in the rain coming home! So ours was a bit soggy! :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Hello

Thanks for the hugs ff x
glad you enjoyed your takeaway :)

Thanks Sheila, I'm thinking of getting my Ma a soupmaker for Christmas but didn't know if they were an good as I don't know anyone who has one :)

 kittencat nice to meet you. Best wishes to your Nan, and Happy Birthday to your Ma :)

Sylvia I am coping better today Thanks for hugs x the sunshine helps too :) I love chilli and spag bol.

Thanks for hugs wingo x I did become a hairdresser :D and from today's posts it's a shame I don't live closer to you all, you could all have had a freebie :D

I haven't done it for a living now for 20 years but it's amazing that all my friends and relations still expect regular trims and get them too :) Once a hairdresser always a hairdresser.

Overall it was a better day. Nice n sunny, so I went for a walk before tea. Cod with homemade chips (can't beat 'em) peas and crusty bread n butter.

Have a good Sunday all and happy comping x

I agree ff. Takeaway is lovely on a Saturday night after cooking all week. Think I'll treat myself next weekend :D

I like what you've said about the soupmaker and think I am sold on the idea :) My Ma loves soup and she's got everything else I can think of so that's another present I can cross off my list :j

Morning! Hope your fog clears FF! I always think it is eerie when you cannot see far! Almost like I am expecting aliens or monster to suddenly appear! (too many horror movies for me lol!)

Lovely and bright here - blue sky but chilly! Lots of dew on the grass and the cars are shimmering so the temps must have got very low throughout the night.

We went to town yesterday and enjoyed walking around the Christmas dept in Fenwicks, John lewis and M&S - you could just spend and spend in those depts as there are so many lovely items! I resisted though! When I was younger, with no kids or ties, I had a few credit cards and just fluttered my money away. But now that I am older, mature and have kids to think about, I have become so much better and able to resit impulse buying and sales - thankfully!! :)

Going to have an easier day today as yesterday was a busy one! Enjoy your Sunday - don't forget The Times hourlys today https://www.thetimesoffers.co.uk/hotelchocolat12oct/ It is a chocolate one :)

Sun shining away here already so hope it lasts!

Whizzy I got soup maker in March with birthday vouchers and DH took to it so I have never used it myself. Love having it made for me! Think we all have this one

It was on a special offer when I got it though.

    Have fun baking FF.
