Hi everyone, sorry late in today. DD2 was coming to take me out shopping and came early. Got DH a couple of pairs of warm trackie bottoms for in the house and a couple of nice t-shirts.

Well done on your ticket win to Wet and Wild Wingo, that will make a nice trip out for you.

Just started to rain here. Just got my curtains in in time. Managed to wash them in the end as it was very expensive to get them cleaned. They have come out lovely.

Just a couple of more goes at the wallpaper and should be done. I tend just to put a new strips up a day as I have to move everything around to do it. Will be glad when its done, I am sick of it now.

Hope you managed to sort out about the open evening at the School for your DD Wingo.

Yes results should be in around breakfast time wingo. Enjoy your win, will be great fun. Don't expect I will ever go to waterpark again now but never was very good with hoops anyway. Have been known to fall off them and cause kids embarrassment!


Great you got curtains done Sylvia. I ruined DS3s curtains when I washed them. They had a coating thing on back of them and it all stuck together and flaked off. It said you could wash them. Had to get him new ones.

That's great that your curtains came out ok Sylvia For what you pay to dry clean them now you may as well buy a new pair!

Sheils, you're not the only one who falls off the boulers! I fell off them when we went to water park in benidorm and couldn't get back on it! I don't like deep water anyway, I panic if I can't touch the bottom!

DD has made it to open eve although she was late getting there! Hope they don't tell her off as I written it in her planner!

Morning! I am not sleeping well again so been up with the larks (or should I say owls) ! Done all my dailies whilst watching the poll results come in - the results appear to be what has been expected up to now - a No vote (though not confirmed quite yet!)

Enjoy your morning. Got a few errands to do this morning - shops, post office etc. so I think I will feel tired this afternoon!

Well just dropped the kids off and popped in past the post office on the way back and it is awful out there! It is so dark and misty and the sort of rain that is just like a light wet mist swirling round that still wets you even when you have an umbrella up! I have come back for a warm cuppa and have put the lights and heating on! aaaah! I will try and stay awake all day so I will hopefully sleep better tonight. I will see how I get on and try to keep busy

It's dark and drizzly here too Bella/fire**fly! At least it's not like Canada the other day...one day it was 27 deg and the next it was -5 :eek:
