It's only just started raining here fire**fly. It's been fairly dull all day but humid too. Dark nights are certainly upon us now though!

I've been to town with DD1 for a few things but managed to get a couple of Xmas pressies too in sale! I also bought a large cool box from Wilkos £3.50 I've been after getting one for sons footie tournament and never got round to it!

Good morning all, its been raining during the night by the look of it and seems to be a cold wet day ahead.

Tried to get docs app online as think I have an ear infection that's working its way down my neck now. Will try again later.

Morning again! Just dropped the kids off - it is weird outside this morning - misty and raining very lightly but incredibly mild!

I am pondering as to whether I should pop into town later this morning for some jeans. I must admit I do buy a lot of my own clothing online from brands I know fit me but it is difficult shopping for jeans as they come in all different shapes and lengths so I like to try them on! I am going to wait to see what the weather does first though because I don't want to go out just to get wet.

Hope you manage to get an appointment with the doc Sylvia - nothing worse than ear or tooth ache. Hopefully you will be offered a cancellation appointment.

Enjoy your day FF - hope the rain clears for you too.

Suns peeking out here too! Decided to leave town until the weekend as I am happily pottering on in the house. It is really mild still and I really want to open the window in my living room but there is a spiders web hanging outside with a HUGE spider on it and I just know that if I open the window it will decide to come in! And I don't want it to!

I have just made some vegetable broth for later - love Autumnal warmers!

Hi guys, just had a catch up with everyone's news. Xxxx

Little ones first day in Nursery today. I was able to stay with her to settle in. Everything was going great, she played and didn't even notice me, so they said to go and have a cuppa come back look through the window and if she looks fine go for another walk etc. she was playing lovely when I looked through the window. Went back half hour later to pick her up for home and she was sitting on one of the staffs lap with red eyes, they said she only started crying the last 10 mins, she run to me and was sobbing her little heart out :sad: it took ages for me to calm her down. I know it's something that will get easier but I'm worried now that she won't want to go back on Wed.

I've had a horrible head cold for 2 weeks now & not been comping much. I've been doing a few on FB/Twitter but have been neglecting the board.

I had a win on FB last week (a book) & today i've had 2 more wins on FB (some Nivea stuff & a tablet). I'm over the moon & love comping, the odds may not be great but when you win it's such a fantastic feeling no matter how big the prize. :j
