Morning! Feeling so much better today so it must have been the honey as the steroids usually take at least 5 days to kick in and make a difference! So for my breakfast, I had a spoonful of honey :)blowing-kiss-thank-you-smiley-emoticon.gif Wingo for your little tip! I also slept much better so don't feel as tired!

After dropping the kids off at school I took Honey along the beach. It was lovely and sunny but I could see a wall of fog hanging over the sea in the horizon and I could hear those eerie fog horns in the distance! Looked really strange but at least the fog is staying away!

Done my washing too and hung it out so settling down to catch up on some comps with a nice cuppa! :) Enjoy your morning :)

Good morning all, just a quick pop in as have to take DH to hospital for one of those 24 hr monitor things and then back tomorrow for a ultrasound.

Well done on the 2 fuel card wins Sheils. Hope you get caught up soon.

Well done for catching neighbors spider firefly.

Will have to get one of the spider catchers Wingo, I keep meaning to and then not doing it.

Glad you managed a better night Bella and a nice walk with honey.

Good luck for DS at the hospital Sylvia xx Hope he is back on his feet soon.
The spider catchers really are a godsend! I wouldn't be able to pick one up without it!

I wish I had your courage fire**fly! I hate crawly things! Even after holding a tarantula to try and combat my fear it didn't help. :o

Well done on the fuel win again sheils :T I keep entering and forgetting where I put the password number! I've written it down a few times and threw it out by accident! Hope you manage to get caught up soon :)

Glad you're feeling a bit better Bella :) I hope the honey is working, it's interesting to hear if it does help when you read up on tips from mags etc.

DH off work sick at the minute. Hope he's not off too long with Xmas coming up! :o It's nice and sunny here after a dull start.
Postie brought the Olaf jumper I ordered which was very quick as I only ordered it 2 days ago! :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Hope your DH feels better soon Wingo - nothing worse that a man who is under the weather! From my experience, it is easier to look after kids who are off school! I defo think the honey is helping - my stomach is making less noises and the bloating has reduced loads :)

Lovely day here still - blue sky and sunshine. My parents are over on the Isle of Arran and say it is lovely there too.

Having to chase a few prizes from last month - I hate doing that! In one way I feel bad because I didn't pay for the prizes, but in another way I think well I won fair and square so I should receive the prizes I entered to win and won!

I see the word 'Christmas' being mentioned more and more - both on here and on Facebook! I can feel myself getting a little excited lol!moving-christmas-tree-smiley-emoticon.gif

Been to the docs and back on steroids to calm my Crohn's so hopefully I will feel better soon. I have lost 9lbs since I was there 2 1/2 weeks ago but I have lost my appetite lately. The steroids are awful to take and they make my immune system crash so i pick up any bugs going round. And now the Autumn is here and the kids are back at school, they are bound to pick something up from there and bring it home to me! (fingers crossed they don't though!) On a brighter note, my doctors surgery always makes me smile because they play such a mish mash of music! One minute they are playing Michael Jackson's 'Bad' (yes, who wants to sing along to 'I'm bad, I'm bad.....' when you are feeling bad and waiting to see the doctor) and the next minute they are playing Jimmy Nail's 'Ain't No Doubt' :D

I won £35 to spend a Serenta flowers a few weeks ago but rather than order myself some flowers, I ordered a beautiful cream orchid in a glass vase. It just arrived this afternoon and is gorgeous. I had one many years ago but killed it because I over watered it so I am determined to keep this one healthy and follow the instructions on the card. So pretty though! :)

    Hi BB,

I have Ulcerative Colitis & I.B.S among other illnesses.

Pleased the honey is helping xxx

I like horses fire**fly but stood next to one is quite scary! In the woods where I take jasper they have stables where they keep police horses (or used to). They had the second biggest horse in the country there and although he was friendly it just made me uneasy stood near him! I think I would be too scared to ride a horse. :o

DH suffering from stress about his dad (what I mentioned previously). But he's going to be even more stressed when I bug him to do the DIY he hasn't finished! :D You're right though Bella, men are worse to look after than the kids when they're ill!

My DD has noticed there's another comp with the Olaf jumper and she's desperate to win it! :D She doesn't know I've got it and put it away. I wouldn't mind one myself too but they sold them out!

    Good Morning,

Bit misty looking here but hopefully the sun will come out later.
It got really hot yesterday and I had to find some shorts which was unexpected!
I love horses FF although I haven't been on one for many years as it was an expensive pastime.

Hope you are feeling much better today Bella and had a good sleep. I slept a bit better last night.

Sylvia I hope the tests are going well for Fred. give him our love. x

Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    sheils x
