Sounds like you've had a fun day with the kids & family Bella I've been to a soft play centre too but DH wanted to come out after half an hour! He hates noisy places!

Glad your GS had a lovely birthday Sylvia I think it's nice having grandparents there at parties and shows but my mum & dad can't be bothered with anything like that anymore. They are both very hard of hearing now too and they have TV on so loud and mam constantly watches or listens to football! It's quite hard to get a conversation anymore!

Well we've had a good day out today. The sun stayed out although it was a bit chilly so we went to fun play centre then had a meal at Hungry Horse before going the football match with tickets I won! I'm just getting cosy with a cuppa now

It's my son's 2nd birthday today & my sister has made him a multi colured Thomas The Tank Engine cake (I helped a little bit & was the chief taster :rotfl:).

As usual I can't sleep despite having 2 glasses of wine so i'm still on here bored & will no doubt have a headache again in the morning.

I won't be about much tomorrow (not until late anyway) but hope you all have a fab lucky day. :A

Good Morning all,
Hoping today will be nice again so I can get the washing up to date.
Can't believe our Menorca holiday is so close now.
It has been busy here. DS2 arrived back after his London trip, looking the worse for wear and with a much lighter bank balance!
Just hope he gets some more agency work quickly as he has lost interest in the 2 jobs he was looking at after telephone interviews.
DS3 finally starts his new job today. His last place got him to give extra notice by making him feel guilty and then he had few days off as he had been working solid for 12 days.
Will have to get DD Dr's appointment as she has hurt her knee and is hobbling about.
