Sorry, late in today. Went out early with DD2 etc as they were heading home at lunch time. Just go the GD now until the weekend.

Hi everyone,


Had a great day in South Shields although we left before 2.30pm as the town was full of police as a protest march against Gazza was due to start. Had a great Chinese buffet at Metro Centre tonight and ate far too much! Will be heading home tomorrow, forecast for rain anyway.


Glad you got your Magners at last wingo and you your sunglasses Sylvia.

The Chinese buffet sounds delicious sheils We have one in town but I have never been to it yet!

Hubby seems to think the other magner box probably should have been in a box too and been tampered with as there were ten loose bottles! The box looked like it had just been taped up and the other box was a full 12 box sealed inside another box! I wasn't bothered as they must have sent the others out of a good will gesture It will be him drinking them anyway!

Glad you enjoyed your day too FF and hope your DH is feeling much better. My mum isn't feeling to great - tummy bug! So many going around with the changeable weather.

Got a supermarket shop done this morning which wasn't too bad. I know the forecast is for rain tomorrow so thought it would be better to do it today. Got out really warm after the fresh start so pottered on in the garden and finished spray painting my birdhouse and a couple of troughs using the spray paints I won a while back. The only annoying thing was I missed the postie while at the shops so have arranged re-delivery for Thursday - apparently it was 2 tracked parcels for me!? Wooo! Our delivery offices is miles away and hard to get to so I always just arrange a redelivery online rather than collect.

Enjoy your evening. Just watching Holby then that new drama on BBC1 'In the Club' - looks good!
