been nibbling on pod peas all day
friend gave me a big bagful for podding &
told said to keep some so I've been chomping on them

Oh haven't chomped on pod peas for years firefly I love them. Never buy peas as DH can't stand them.

My TV mag says casualty is on tomorrow Sylvia, just footie on tonight!
It's been quite chilly here too fire**fly so got my cardi on.

Been to new soft play adventure place with girls. There's not many places oldest girl can play in now but she still loves it! Just waiting for son coming in. I was a bit worried as the EDL were protesting near town where son went with friends. One of his friends mams texted to say he is on way home thankfully!

Been standing ironing for hours but that is it done at last!
Will be able to watch Casualty as case packed too.
Going to have another try at going over to Loch Leven Castle tomorrow. The ferry was off last year as it was too rough when we tried in October. Was really interested in Mary Queen of Scotts when I was young and I always remember hearing about that castle so want to see it.


Long time since I had fresh peas - my dad used to grow them. I used to get annoyed if he left them until they got big and hard. Used to go and pinch them out of the veg plot.

Might get some for myself next time I am out shopping. I like to put a little sugar in mine and a sprig of mint when I am cooking them.

Glad you DS is OK and will be back soon Wingo. Saw it on the TV. Just looked at the mag again and you are right. It shows Casualty but then says it will not be on if footie is showing.

Thanks for kind offer wingo but we are diverting slightly on way home to use Beefeater voucher. We don't have any Beefeaters near us so can only use one. Another one would just go out of date before I could use it.
Glad DS OK - kids are such a worry.

Son is in now He's at that age that he wants to stay out with his friends! Just didn't want him hanging around where protest was as there were a few arrests.

No worries sheils! I didn't want it going to waste really but I'm sure someone will want it.
Oh I love sweet peas :drool: brings back memories when I was a kid picking them out of dad's garden!

Sun out already so fingers crossed we are going to have a nice day. Heading north is always a worry but hopefully be OK. Tomorrow looks nice anyway.
