I love Nestle Shreddies for Breakfest but I find that too expensive
Is there any other cheaper brands that people would recommend?
Cheers.

Shreddies are reasonably cheap especially when on offerI love Nestle Shreddies for Breakfest but I find that too expensive

Asda is selling 750g for £2 that's about 11p per serving.
Even at £3.39 per 750g box it's about 18p per serving.
Have you tried Aldi's alternative? 625g for 99p (6p per serving)
Asda's Malted Wheaties? 750g for £1.58 (9p per serving)
Buy 3 boxes of those Malted Wheaties for £3 to reduce cost per serve down to about 5p.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

The only other version I've tried are the aldi ones and I can't tell the difference in taste0

The Asda ones are great. And at £3 for three massive boxes they're a bargain.
The Lidl ones are good too. But I can't remember how much they cost. Think it was 89p for 500g, but I'm not sure.
I certainly haven't bought any 'proper' Shreddies for years. Plenty of cheaper alternatives to chose from.0 -
We love the aldi the ones. But we have had various other ones and they are all okay (I guess it depends how fussy you are?!)Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Another vote for asda's malted wheaties when they are on offer 3 for £3 750g box. Don't think you will find cheaper - I always look but these are always the cheapest and taste fine.0

They have been 3 for £3 for a few months, they are the best value and they taste great (I have no idea when the offer ends so I have been stocking up).0 -
Another vote for the Asda ones, especially when they are on offer at 3 for £30
