    If your savings are returning more than the mortgage then you'd be better off with a mortgage payment holiday!

    I thought I had read on here that taking a mortgage payment holiday led to a note being placed on your credit record and so could have an adverse impact in the future.

    There would have to a justifiable reason to take the payment holiday as well.
