Ed is high from the fumes, man! :rotfl:
But no, seriously, I hope you are not.
Good luck with all the painting. I don't know how you are keeping this all up. I'd be lay on the floor with exhaustion with all that you do PLUS a wee 'un!
Top tip: if the weather is really hot up there make sure you don't paint oil-based paints: the oil will evaporate too quickly and the finish won't be correct.Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
One of those days:
- Slow progress on decorating, I'll only be 50% done by the end of the week
- MIL broke foot = bye bye childcare (and yes, I sympathise, but crappy for Mrs E as well, who'll need to take leave)
- DD vomited 4 times and was up throughout the night
- House is a !!!! tip, paint on lots of carpets, will be a couple of weeks 'til we can replace them
Knackered. 'Early' finish today, ran out of paint...0 - Slow progress on decorating, I'll only be 50% done by the end of the week

Chin up Old Chap.
It feels like a grind right now but you will be so glad when its done. Is there any chance you can get the sitting room finished and stick everything in another room in the evenings so you have somewhere to sit that doesn't remind you of the work?
Sorry to hear about your MIL I hope she recovers quickly.
How is your DD today? At least she wasn't sick on new carpets. The younger Gnomeboy had recurrent tonsilitis which led to lots of vomiting. Sometimes a ear infection can trigger high temp and vomiting so watch out for her pulling at her ear as well as checking her throat.
Hope you have a better day today.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

Thanks LadyGnome and KC, we'll muddle through!
Plan is as LG says, get living room finished (maybe not all of the gloss) and work through the rest as we can. Unfortunately as the rest is landing/stairs/hall, it will always be invasive until it's done.
Remaining positive, may have spent the FIT cheque on tickets for the Scotland rugby games in late November 0 -
Oh dear Ed.
Right, let's not get too depressed. Bad as it is, you are still making *incredible* progress overall. I quite seriously have no I idea how you have managed it!
Best of luck with everything.

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
