Done!
Lovely afternoon with borderline angelic DD, she lights up my days :A
Swimming was hilarious, DD got an inflatable ring seat for Christmas and she absolutely loved whirling round in the current. At one point she got so relaxed floating on her back held by Mrs E that she started falling asleep! :rotfl:
Picked up a selection of lovely expensive Christmas cards at deep discounts, covering DD card, wife card, DD *to* wife card (apparently that's a thing) and Valentine's Day.
Then a decent walk in the evening to our uber posh local chippy, where I picked up a smoked haddock supper and a vegetable tempura supper. Still within my calories for the day after the F1tbit adjustment.
£0.74 ET made to mortgage, £100 Am@azon voucher for switching to V1rgin arrived, moderately raging as we cannot go to the Calcutta cup (inlaw birthday). Slightly worried re. disposing of 2x£95 tickets. :mad:0 -

Can't you just tell the in-laws you're already busy that day, and having spent £200 on tickets unfortunately you can't cancel, but you'd be happy to celebrate with them at a mutually convenient date? Surely they're fairly old now...i.e. past throwing a "but it's my birthday!" Diva strop?0

A fellow fit bit user - the downside of my day was forgetting to wear my fit bit when I walked the dog for an hour this morning! Thats around 7,000 steps for which I have lost credit!
Just sneaking in to interrupt... mine stopped telling the time yesterday so after syncing it I followed the instructions online to reset it and lost over 2,000 steps and for 4 hours apparently I had no heartbeat! I nearly cried... Maybe we need a fitbit (no so) anonymous thread!

They are incredibly generous to us, not only in material terms, but with their time and helpful natures. I would not expect them to fit the schedules of 9-10 people around a sports event, no matter how frustrating I might find it to miss it!muddywhitechicken wrote: »Would offer to buy them off you but have tickets to see Billy Connolly that day
Not to worry MWC, I managed to sell them on at a small premium to the face value, panic overmortgage_girl wrote: »Just sneaking in to interrupt... mine stopped telling the time yesterday so after syncing it I followed the instructions online to reset it and lost over 2,000 steps and for 4 hours apparently I had no heartbeat! I nearly cried... How annoying or you (although just impressed that you can post after what was effectively brain death) Thread sounds like a really good idea MG, I wonder how we could make it work.... The MFW Fitness thread - shrinking our waists and mortgages?
£80.01 OPed (ticket sale, P2P interest and small ET).0 -

Would need to be something along the lines of OPing based on weight loss - healthy reward for a healthy attitude0 -
