Earning with Fiverr website

Hello. Does anyone have experience of earning and withdrawing money using the fiverr website? At first glance the idea of earning a fiverr looks tempting. However, the fiverr is $5 and not £5, the website takes 20% commission, and then to get your hands on your earnings, it looks like you have to withdraw into PayPal....incurring a $ to £ conversion fee of PayPal's choice. Have I got all this right? Is there another way to withdraw money so that you don't incur fees? Any advice would be really helpful. Many thanks.

I haven't used Fiverr in a while. I think there's a Fiverr card which works like a debit card, but I don't know how that works or if it works out cheaper.

I've bought gigs from fiverr, but never sold gigs there. I heard though that after Fiverr and Paypal fees, you only get $3.91 per gig.
The Paypal fees themselves are very small though compared to the $1 fee which fiverr charges, so it doesn't seem a big deal.
You could consider using fivesquids.co.uk which has jobs which pay £5 or more, not $5.0 -
fiverr is good for newbies. Yes pay rate is low but if you manage to get a least 10-20 orders per day then I think it will get you a reasonable amount per day (being as a newbie). I have seen people are earning a hell lot of money from fiverr. If you have some expertise and know how to create an attractive gig, go on >>0
