Costa Americano vs Instant

I have been drinking coffee daily for 478329743821941 years and my early morning motor will not start without it
My favorite is Costa Americano which i drink either in stores and I also have a Tassimo Machine to make it fresh at home
I notice 473894732894 ground bean instants on the market now and without buying every single one at £5 pop Im wondering which is the best
I am used to paying £2.40 per cup at Costa so the price of any of the instants isn't an issue - but the quality and flavour is the only issue
The "you get what you pay for" philosophy is total nonsense - paying £500 for a coffee does NOT guarantee its quality as anyone who is old enough to have left school will have figured out by now
So has anyone tried a few of these "Barista style wannabee" instants and found a nice one?
I am drinking Kenco one as I type and it's actually much much nicer than i expected and (since im on MSE) it on offer at £1.99 at Tesco at the mo
I have read a which review which suggests the Nescafe Azera (range) came out tops - strangely enough I notice Tesco own brand came 2nd above Kenco Im drinkling now

The Kenco Millicano is lovely, I stock up when on offer. Millicano do a Sunshine blend also very nice, slightly milder than the original.
I thought the Azera very bitter and even though we drink Gold Blend the Gold Blend Barista is bitter also.2011 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £743.32

Don't think the Nescafe Gold Blend Barista is bitter - it is just tasteless and depthless, very bland. What's worse is the pack size - based on 95g rather than 100g. (The £7 pack is 180g).
Don't rate the Azera - not sure specific type but the Azera I tried was just an instant coffee.
Nescafe Espresso is about the only instant that seems to taste of anything - but note it is designed (and concentrated) to be served in actual espresso-sized portions. It doesn't work for those who want a mug of coffee.0 -

I find them all quite bitter except the Starbucks instant.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000

Millicano is half price in Tesco at the moment (£1.99 a can) try it and see what you think. At that price at least it is only the price of 1 take-away coffee so not lost a lot if you don't like it.0
