Asda 220 ltr compost bins £10

My local Asda (Chandlers Ford) is selling compost bins for £10. They are 220 litre, with a 'door' at the bottom. The assistant told me that they have water butts for the same price but I didn't have a look at those.
I think the compost bins sell elsewhere for £20-30!

Was this today. Advert in the paper said it was valid from tomorrow 8am. Daren't tell OH he wants a couple for our new allotment, but go on holiday at 7am tomorrow and you can't order online!!0

Are these the Blackwall branded ones? have been on the verge of ordering 2 for £30 through a discounted scheme via our Local Authority. Worth a trip to Asda to save a further £10 though!0

They don't have any brand written on them but I've checked the leaflet that was attached and they are made by Strata Products Ltd in Nottinghamshire. I got one of the water butts - very good for the price. They didn't have many in though.0

Always worth a look on your local freecycle/freegle/greencycle etc. I have 3 compost bins and they all came free, from there. Luck of the draw really, and also worth asking as these are the kind of things people buy then never use.0
