Game and Haggling

My nephew was looking for some PSP things, games, films, 1 gig memory stick and a case. After looking all around Glasgow he decided Game in Buchanan Galleries were the cheapest.

I did prompt him to ask for a bargain but what he got really impressed me and the way the manager happily entered into a bargaining frenzy too.

The manager initially knocked £15 off the PSP, then he knocked £5 off per game. My nephew is 12 and asked for a student discount which the manager agreed to as well. I reckon he walked out the shop with £220 plus of psp thingies for £172.95 and a free loyalty card (normally £3). My nephew was well happy and had £5 left in his wallet.

Now for a 12 year old lad I think that is a great moneysaver.

Any other stories of young uns getting bargains?
