Thanks. I'll take a look in store.

Does that list contain "exciting new menu choices" as advertised on TV or does it look much as usual? According to advertisers customers seem to get very easily excited!

I always try to pop in and pick up a dine in when I am in town but this week my friend has asked me to pick her one up, does anyone know if I am allowed to buy 2?

I looked on the site and cant find the answer anywhere?

    Thanks

Got mine today and the rotisserie chickens looked nice and big (around £9 in price also). But I left the chicken this time.

    I got:
    sirloin steaks
    potato rosti's (might freeze)
millionaires shortbread - but the cheeseboard nearly won
    Bellota (tempranillo)

Tart it up a little with some fried onions and chunky h/m chips.

I noticed something different this time about the offer. They are advertising it as Dine In plus free wine. And then the bill itself calculates the food separately and then adds 'free wine'. I suspect this might lead to a change in the offer itself in the longer term, otherwise, why bother to alter it.

i wondered the same about them saying the wine was free...perhaps offer is changing...which would be a shame as we like it

I have seen "free wine" deals at M&S before.

An example here from a 18 months ago. Buy 2 mains & 2 sides (unspecified prices) and get a free bottle of wine.

I got caught out by this when they first introduced them. I wasn't buying anything else so I spotted immediately at the till that it was more than £10 and I told the checkout person I didn't want it. She said lots of other people had complained and done the same thing.

If M&S do change the deal to gradually increase the price to a meal for 2 for whatever amount plus a free bottle of wine I'll probably stop buying it. I can live without a bottle of Bulgarian vinegar and a ready peeled potato so the rest isn't that great value for more than £10.
