You don't have to be over 50 to have a Gourmet Society card.
I'm sure Saga would sell a 20-year-old their magazine. (Saga do restrict their holidays to 40+ (because someone under 50 can accompany a 50-y-o) but they do not, AFAIK, restrict who can read their publications.)

Thanks OP, but when I click the link I can't see anywhere where it says "register free" it's just showing the price as £69.95?

I registered via Sagas web site by using their search facility, just put in Gourmet Society. Then click the box on the lower right hand side.
I received two emails to confirm my registration.
