Received mine earlier today and have just tried it out - really pleased, especially at the price. Have ordered two more as presents.

Should be perfect for the job. The disc-shaped attachments in the picture are designed for shredding/grating.

Wonderful. Just what i was hoping to hear.

Can't believe i am ordering yet another kitchen gadget :rotfl:.

i was looking at a compact food processor earlier this week but really couldn't decide. have looked at this thread about 3 times today, checked the link on ebay, then changed my mind! however, resistance would appear futile as i've just ordered it now :D

Just ordered this! Been looking for a sturdy blender for a while since the blades have jammed (even after deconstruction and cleaning!) in our old one. The fact that this one has a food processor bit is just an extra, since the other blender I was looking into getting was £15 for just a blender.

mine was delivered today. from the size of the box i thought "oh heck, it's much bigger than i thought, where am i going to put it?", but it's just the right size!

given it a quick go grating some carrots & cheese, works really well, just a small piece of each left that got a bit stuck above the grater disc. not an issue really & could well be down to my technique :D.

seems good quality overall, surprised how heavy & solid the glass mixing jug is & it all fits together well. really pleased for the price of it.

Yep, mine arrived today as well! Very good service from Royal Mail as well, received an e-mail and text saying that it had been picked up, then another saying it was on the truck for delivery, then another saying that it had been delivered! I haven't used it yet, but I'm looking forward to a nice thick-ish smoothie tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure DH is looking forward to being relieved of his manual cheese grating duty. ;)
