gosh its been a while since i posted.

However I have been trying my best to keep to a frugal day to day lifestyle. Unfortunately due to expenses by both my DD's my little fund has been dessimated :( Nevertheless at least I had the money to hand to give to them. On a happier note I have been able to declutter the house of some items and in the process have gleaned an extra 105.50 for the household funds.

Gave 30 to DD2 and 25 to DD1 as they were some of their items that were sold. So going to keep decluttering the house and making some extra money as well. Win win situation all around.

So as it is coming to the end of May I am going to make the following goals for June 2014.

    NSD's 15
    AFD's 15
    Groc shop per week 100.00

I have been a bit more realistic this month in terms of AFd's and NSD's LOL so onwards and upwards. The groc budget may seem a tad high but in this economy (Ireland) groceries are extremely expensive especially toiletries etc, despite the fact that I shop weekly at LI£L. So doing my best.

    Namaste

Its been almost a month since I posted :(

things have been very tough chez flanno money wise and all funds have been depleted for various reasons which I will not bore people with. However I am back and determined to live a frugal lifestyle as well as saving some money

As I mentioned previously on this forum I have not much debt per se but neither am I working at the moment, having just finished my degree and have income of 121.40 per week courtesy of the welfare state. OH is working (self employed) and keeps the wolf from the door, although it is proving more and more difficult to keep things on an even keel, never mind get ahead financially in Ireland these days.

However from tomorrow Monday I am getting back on track. I am decluttering, putting stuff on DoneDeal, selling books etc. and cooking from scratch, and using up leftovers. I have also just got a student from 21st June/19th July which will bring in some welcome additional funds.

    So watch this space MSErs.

    Namaste,
    Flanno
