PS4, PC and XBOX One. Gives me plenty of time to get San Andreas finished!

    Looks like it is.

Played and finished the single player, why would I buy it for next gen?
Should say I played SP 125 hours and MP 119 hours, when I get Gold again I will go back to the MP as it's fun but needed a break to play other games, not buying it for next gen just for the MP.

Guess its for people who didn't own it on Last Gen (can their really be that many?) I was really disappointed that they didn't announce any DLC for the game. It's just crying out for some more heists!

If you got 100% on the main and side missions then there is not point buying it again. If you're like me and didn't complete all the side missions before moving over to next-gen then you can transfer your stats and progress from last-gen and pick up where you left off.

It's good news for PC gamers as they are the ones who ain't got it.

I really hope they don't bring out DLC or heists just for next-gen!

PC version was originally planned for easter 2014 and next gen versions were not on the roadmap, simply because of the success on last gen. However it's understood that Rockstar were approached by multiple retailers as well as Microsoft and Sony to get a version out summer 2014 to maintain and boost console sales. So PC version got delayed and will be released along with next gen console versions.

Have it for the PS3 but definately interested in a PC version. Will look absolutely stunning I imagine.

Hope its not like watchdogs where the PC version was deliberately altered to run at a lower quality than the xbone or ps4 versions.

well it looks like the OP got their wish. it's definitely on the way and i now finally have an excuse to get a PS4.

i desperately wanted it for the PC and jumped on the bandwagon ages ago with the whole internet facebook messages "GTA 5 PC master race" and so on but....

this rubbish about consoles being useless because of their lower hardware specs and lower prices to make them more affordable is just elitist banter.

i know for a fact that both high end 8th gen consoles are built to last for a considerable amount of years and not only that, since it's coming for the xbox one and the PS4 as well as PC it means the PC version is simply going to be a port of probably the xbox one version since direct x 11.1 / 11 goes hand in hand with xbox one and windows 7 / 8.1. it's not like they're going to overhaul the entire engine of the game just so PC elitists with £1000+ rigs can be happy. it will be fair across all 3 platforms with the same experience.

and i'd rather sit on the couch with a playstation for this one. just preference. im sure the PC version will also be excellent.

You will likely see a lot less of this since PC gaming overtook consoles in terms of revenue. Granted a lot of this is due to independent developers but when Diablo 3 sells over 6 million in it's first week on PC, people take notice.
