Hi all,
I bought some anodised aluminium roasting trays today and 'seasoned' them by coating with oil and baking as per the instructions. However, it seems I've managed to get this wrong as I used olive oil and it has left a slight sticky residue that doesn't look as if it'll shift without a wire scubber. I did a bit more research and found out that I should have used a lighter oil:mad:(really wish I'd read that BEFORE I did it!)
Any ideas of how to put this right?
TIA

Thanks MrsAtobe (love your name!). Tried soaking but didn't shift it so had to resort to using a green scrubby thing in the end. They seem to have survived that so I'll try to season them again tomorrow, this time with the right oil!
Perhaps I should just stick to takeaways....:rotfl:0
