Asda Pitta breads

Went to Asda yesterday to get a pack of wholemeal pittas as one of these counts as a healthy extra if on Slimmingworld plan. They are normally 5op so was really pleased to find on offer 3 packs for a pound. Applies to the white, stone baked and coriander ones too.

    Pitta bread? Healthy?

Good find though. My kids love these things and will stuff anything inside them. Burgers, chips, curry, fish fingers, beans, noodles, chilli, kebabs, pasta, anything! Very versatile little belly fillers.

I'll get some this afternoon. Thanks.

You should avoid bread and pasta altogtther when dieting. They're often branded and advertised as being "healthy", but they're tho complete opposite.

I do love warm tiger bread though, with some Lurpak. Mmmmmm!

A sensible portion of carbs is perfectly acceptable. What you should avoid is blanket generalisations and easy-fixes.

Ohhhhhhhhhh that is so cruel when I am trying to be so good so I can live to a ripe old age but I swear with a chunk of that in my hand and a BIG lump of cheese in the other I would die happy. who wants to be a healthy slinky old lady anyway. BUT I have been challenged to be the first lady in a long line of long lived ladies (90 years) in my family to reach 100 years, so get you behind me DP JAMES and stop your teasing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
