Was going to get a few credit cards for money I need but read on this site about Zopa and had a look, seems decent enough but would like to know if someone on here has dealt with them, I like the idea of consolidated loan instead of money scattered on 2-3 cards. (despite the fact it's not 0% loan)

You need a very good credit history to borrow with Zopa, as it is peer to peer lending, so more risk averse.

Used them for the 1st time a couple of months ago, can only say very good rate and well impressed.

On a side note, they do seem to want a good credit history there were the usual credit check but also wanted bank account statements and a copy of last 3 years accounts.
Maybe that's just me being self employed though. But would give me confidence if i were to invest as a loaner.

As someone whose has some money invested in Zopa. All I can say is, the stricter they are, the happier I am. It is my money they are lending out, not theirs.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Well I have a faultless credit history and they were pretty thorough with me. So rest safe I think.
