Please help? Will i get backpayed esa

Hope someone is able to help me.
Basically i started esa back in early october 2013 and was granted and started on the basic rate. On the 13th week in dec/jan when they were supposed to tell mee what group id be put in i was told they are behind and ill have to wait. So its now the end of april and i still have not heard anything even if i need to go to a medical or not. Mine is a mental illness and this makes it very difficult for me to work. Recently ive been looking into jobs because i am struggling and being made worse by the fact i have no.money and go overdrawn each month bevause of this. I have been asked to come for an interview which is making me get very anxious and am getting in such a state. If i do manage to do this interview and say i got the job....obviously my esa would have to end. But would i still get my back oayment from the 13th week im owed? Can you help?
