When I was bought up there was no such things as sell by or best before dates.
You just judged by sight or smell.

Nether of which matter so much to food safetythe first is nothing to do with us, just for the shop. Best before is usually on cakes and biscuits which just go stale. Use by is very very different.

Eat them and then post a message 6hrs later on here if you're still alive so we all know whether it's safe to eat out of date quiche or not....
Jesting, I would eat them. However I would quickly bin the box with the date on cos my DD is obsessed with not eating things that are 1 day out of date0 -
