Transcom and ebay outstanding fees

Hello I'm new to this forum but I hope someone can help me. I recently sold a couple of items and had some problems with this so ebay reimbursed the buyer and are now asking me for £534 to include fees and reimbursement I have explained that I can pay in instalments but they said it's not possible. I have recently begun getting calls from transcom (DC) at least twice a day evryday while I'm at work and unable to answer they have also text. The ebay account is still in a previous address from about 9 years ago and in my maiden name. Can someone advise me what to say/ do? I'm very worried I have been waiting for further responses from ebay to allow me more time to pay. I have explained to them that I'm aware I need to pay. Thanks

So you've sold some gear on ebay, and for some reason they have returned it yes ? have you got your goods back ? what was the reason they reimbursed the buyer ? I assume you have spent the original money you received for the goods ? what will happen is this, I assume you paid with paypal, if and when any money goes into your paypal account, ebay will claim it, do you have any direct debts set up with paypal or ebay ? if so cancel them as they will take the money that way, if you cant pay them back in one go then the debt will be passed to a DCA, as you have said, I suggest you wait till you get something in the post from them, then write and make your offer of payment to them, don't phone, do it in writing, paypal are not too good at payment plans unfortunately.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi thanks for the reply yes that's basically it I have cancelled direct debits. I don't think I will receive a letter as the address on file is an old one (at least 8 years ago) I haven't updated it an it's still in my maiden name they just have my mobile number.0
