Tax Return 2013/2014 Confusion...

Self-employed husband injured in RTA five months ago and has been in receipt of ESA contribution based since.
We now have a Short Tax Return to complete for his years earnings to 5.4.2014 but would anyone know do the DWP issue any kind of P60 type statement showing the amount of ESA he has been paid? Or would we simply add up the credits made into his bank account from them, and enter this figure on the Tax Return? Thanks.

Thanks - I guess we wait for the P60u-thingy to arrive in the post then, to get the correct figure.
