Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy fabric dyes to be used for Tie Dye.
It's great my son is into Tie Dye currently, far cheaper than the usual sports/designer brands he's after but the dye is still quite expensive.
I've looked on Amazon/ebay and they are not really any cheaper than Tesco/Wilko etc
Thanks!

Just in case anyone else is interested I have been pointed in the direction of Rit Dye on ebay £3.44 delivered by a couple of seasoned Tie Dyers.

This is for the powdered dye, there is also a liquid dye you dilute, which may be slighty less messy to use but its more expensive again.
So we are going to give this a try!0 -
Try requesting some on your local branch of Freecycle (Google on Freecycle UK to find it if you've not done so already). Lots of people have some lurking in cupboards and may be happy to give it away. Also worth trying charity shops - I've seen dyes in our local branches.0

Try Wilkinsons, it was the cheapest when I was last looking. Home bargains sometimes has black only. Don't forget to check if you need salt.0
