Virgin mortgage application

valuation has come back ok. Typical it's another bank holiday so more waiting. Anyone know how much longer Virgin take from Valuation to offer?

MA advised me yesterday that our application is in processing and due to be dealt with within 48 hours. Tired of waiting.

Having looked through other threads there doesn't seem to be many people applying for a mortgage with Virgin.

How long has it taken you so far?

Is there anyone else out there??

I went with Virgin :-)

Went smoothly for me! and now just awaiting house build to be completed, I have that worry now of will it be built before mortgage offer expiry!!

I dont want to have to go through it all again lol, but on the positive side should be ok anyway as Virgin made MMR changes tot heir systems back in December last year so already been though the new checks.

Still waiting for some news!! Getting frustrated with not knowing anything now. How much longer is this going to take!! Anyone shed some more light on Virgin's timescale after valuation??

Update from MA. He has escalated the case and has been told it will be fully assessed by tomorrow. He is hoping we get a final decision and advised me that it's not just Virgin but the whole of the mortgage world that's slow at the moment!!

Another update. Virgin have requested more up to date payslips for my partner who gets paid weekly. Well if it didn't take so long to make a decision......:(
