  • Sign up to Noddle and get a free credit report. This will give a list of all of your creditors and the amount you owe. You can then make a plan to get rid of it :)

"Sorry, we haven’t been able to verify and validate your identity and can’t provide your credit report."

Even though I've lived in my house since 1999 :( Don't know why it couldn't validate me

The credit reference agencies are the best source we have for investigation but many creditors do not report there: councils, government, local companies, organisations and individuals (unless they got a ccj in the past 6 years), most energy companies and water authorities, parking fines, rent arrears (for now).

Even the banks, credit card companies, catalogues and doorstep lenders will not feature if they defaulted your account more than six years ago.

And they do not all use the same agency.

The straight answer to your question is no.

There are 3 credit reporting agencies, noddle, Experian, and Equifax, you can apply for a postal copy at £2 each, not all your credit debt may be registered on just one CRA though, are your debt old, if so how old ? have you had any letters recently chasing you for money ?.

I am 20 years old and i probably get like 2/3 letters a week about debt. I've tried Equifax and just got to verify with them
  • Collect all the letters and emails you have received about your debts together in one place to get started. Start making a list of your creditors. Use Equifax but remember not everything will be listed in one place.
