    If you haven't already done so, check the circuit breakers on the consumer unit (fuse box) that the generation meter is connected to. It's common for solar installations to have their own consumer unit, separate from the main house one. Make sure the breakers are are on.

    It's possible for a breaker to trip if damp gets into the system - and we had an awful lot of rain and wind last winter.
    If it sticks, force it.
    If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
  • If it's just the display that isn't working you may be in luck. The manufacturer may be able to interrogate the internal memory and get the current reading.

    Just to update, the company that originally installed the system sent an electrician round to fault find. It appears the cable connected into the fuse box wasn't as secure as it could have been and it had worked it's way loose so no power to the meter.
    All fixed in 10 mins so best case scenario really.
