N.I. contributions on self-employment + early retirement pension

Options
I took an early retirement company pension 5 years ago, but have returned to work part-time (self-employed) in 2013/14 tax year.

My early retirement pension is just over £10k per year and I would like to know if I will have to pay the Class 4 N.I. contribution on the total of the pension & profits, or is it going to be just based on the self-employment profits only?

I am in mid 50's and am currently paying Class 2 contributions already

Thanks

Thanks Clapton, just one more question.

Is the 9% Class 4 contribution just payable on the profits between the lower and upper profits limit? (e.g. if profit is £11,755 then 9% to be assessed on the £4,000 above the lower profits limit?)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    NI Class 4
    Profits 0 - £7956 0%
    £7957 - £41,865 9%
    £41,866 and above 2%
The only thing that is constant is change.
