Hi,
So I was looking for a way out and churchwood offered me a plan!
Th need of the month will be the 1st time that I am paying them but they have the worst communication and I would like to cancel.
In the terms and conditions it says I can cancel but itl take 2 weeks n my creditors would have taken money in that time?
What should I do!?
Thank you xxx

My recommendation (as someone who has completed a DMP) would be to use a FREE DMP provider like
Payplan (who I used)
https://www.payplan.com/
Stepchange
http://www.stepchange.org/
Christians Against Poverty (you dont have to be a christian to use them !)
https://www.capuk.org/
Or you could self administered
https://nedcab.cabmoney.org.uk/dmp.asp
Looking at Churchwoods site they will charge you £54/mth Management Fee to run your DMP, this is £54/mth that could go to clearing your debts, which means you could be debt free quicker !.
I would personally recommend Payplan, as they ran my DMP and I have now been DF for 10 months.
With their help I cleared £24k of debt in 90 months.
Please post back if you needs more help and congratulations on dealing with your debt.0 -
Hi thanks for the reply
)
They all look good I will look into pay plan some more.
Now that I have signed up to Churchwood do you have any idea of I have to pay to cancel them etc?
Thank you very much.0 -
I dont know how you cancel, as Payplan was recommended to me by one of my creditors.
Did they approach you or did you find them on the internet via a search ?.0 -

You now need a way out of Churchwood!
Just cancel your direct debit and tell them (in writing) that you are terminating your plan.
There shouldn't be any charges, but if they suggest anything, then post again0
