I know that some of my friends have tried them, I have ordered some from Av0n as they are £3.50 this month instead of £7. I am told that they last well and one friend does a lot of typing and gardening - both of which can be hell on nails and the gel nail polishes have lasted well. It beats going to get your nails professionally done each time you need them doing.0

Well I had the AVON ones - a pale pink - seems to last well but I hate the look - not sure if other shades like this - needs 2 coats and still streaked.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

I have the Avon ones. I did my nails on Saturday, looked OK but nothing special. I went swimming yesterday and by the tine I got home half of it had peeled off! Not impressed so far but it is cheap, might give it another go0

I used to love Sally Hansen complete salon manicure, then tried some Maybelline 7 days recently and they are even better. Not sure about the 7-day staying power though.0

CND do vinylux a 7 day varnish. I first bought in Canada although you can now get here. It is not as robust on me as it is claimed but I am sore on my hands. You can remove with ordinary remover. I love the colours.0

Personally I love Perfect Formula, you can get it from Q\/C and there are also loads on Eb@y.
It is a gel like finish but you don't need lamps etc and it comes off easily with normal nail varnish remover.
There are clear gels, clear and one with a pink tint and colours (red, taupe, pink), they all nourish the nails and contain proteins for strength. I also have the nourishing oil which I paint on each night, takes seconds.
The finish lasts well (needs to be redone every week to get the full nutritional benefit) and the gels go on easily. My nails are much better, I used to go to the salon for gel extensions but don't need to now, they are longer and don't split, I'm really pleased.REPAYMENT PLANBarclaycard £6700 0% repaying at £300 pmLOAN [STRIKE]£14000[/STRIKE] £9352 - DFD September 20220 -

Sally hansen is great, moisturises my cuticles etc, but it peeled off after 1 day. I don't wear base or top coat though so you may have more luck if you do.0
